Caption: I was traveling with a bird guide - Murray Hunt. We saw the bird investigating this nest (I didn’t see food or nesting material). Murray identified it both by the nest as well as a visual of the bird. I’m not from Australia; he was delighted & maybe surprised by this. My photo GPS says it was closer to the north end of the Esplanade (before Lily St.), but I’m pretty sure - years later - that it was in the botanical gardens in Edge Hill. Any thoughts are welcome.
